Dipl.-Phys. Alexander M. BACH
As a licensed representative before the intellectual property institutions, he represents companies, organizations and research institutes at universities and colleges. He offers comprehensive services in the field of intellectual property law as well for colleague IP law firms.
Education and professional career
He laid the scientific and technical foundations for his career by studying computer science and physics at the University of Karlsruhe. He deepened his knowledge by studying materials and crystallography. He gained practical experience at the Institute for Aerosol and Filter Technology of the Meteorology Research Group at the former Karlsruhe Research Center (now KIT) and at the Institute for Chemical Technologies of the Fraunhofer Society.
After training at a patent law firm in the Rhineland and completing legal clerkships at the German Patent and Trademark Office, the Federal Patent Court, and a voluntary legal clerkship at the Munich I Regional Court, he was admitted to the bar as a patent attorney. He initially worked as a freelancer in various patent law firms before founding his own IP LAW FIRM in Cologne.
